Restaurant Consulting

An early mentor of mine said, "If we each have a dollar and we exchange dollars, we will then each have a dollar. However, if we each have an idea and we exchange ideas, we will then each have two ideas." To my thinking, this bit of advice forms the basis of the restaurant client / restaurant consultant relationship.

In my decades of working with great restaurants, I have seen many interesting variations on similar things. In those same years, while teaching the hospitality industry at the college level, I was able to stay on the cutting edge of industry science and management theory and practice.

I put all I have learned over the years to work for my restaurant consulting clients. Through in-depth analysis of a restaurant's market position, systems, and procedures – and importantly, customer experience – I can determine what is right and what needs improvement.
